Greetings from London 10 Shop Windows Postcard Gallery About us
Greetings from London presents 10 new postcard visions for London, created by architects from the UK and abroad. The ideas are displayed in the windows of Selfridges, Oxford Street from 7 – 24 June 2004 and here on the website (from 14 June).

Instead of London’s global image of the typical picture postcard of beefeaters, Big Ben and buses, Greetings from London offers an alternative view of London – as it is now and as it could be.

The architects are Foreign Office Architects, FAT, NL Architects, David Greene with EXP, Nigel Coates, Foster and Partners, Alsop Architects, Casagrande Laboratory, Zaha Hadid, and Klein Dytham.

Greetings from London is a chance for the public to express their visions too - via postcards, available in Selfridges, Oxford Street, W1 or at the Farmiloes Building, St John Street, EC1 as part of the London Architecture Biennale.

All of the ideas are exhibited here in the Greetings from London virtual gallery.
